Supercharge Your Creation Flow
You bring the story, the puzzles, and the big ideas – we think the platform should handle the rest. Nothing kills creative momentum quite like repetitive clicking and a growing queue of player submissions while you’re trying to host a live event, but this shouldn’t get in the way of your next great adventure.
Now, we are handing you hours of your time back! We have done some major upgrades built to speed up your build flow and take the heavy lifting off your plate on game day. Think instant route generation with pre-loaded logic, lightning-fast map rollout, an intelligent AI co-host to review player submissions, and fresh customization perks.
Here are five brand-new tools arriving in your creator toolkit: Bulk, Set & Route Creation, Quick-Rollout, AI Evaluation, Trigger Workflow & Customization Upgrades, and our new Feature Request & Roadmap portal.
Let’s dive into what’s new:
Bulk, Set, Route – Complete Control Over Your Trigger Architecture
Setting up an ambitious game with dozens of checkpoints used to mean a lot of repetitive clicking. With Bulk, Set & Route Creation, you can skip the tedious setup and go straight from an idea to a fully structured game in seconds.
One-Click Creation – Generate in Bulk, Sets, or Routes
You no longer have to build every single checkpoint one by one. With a single click, you can generate an entire batch of triggers at once – whether you want to generate a broad pool of standalone triggers in bulk, package them neatly into an organized set, or spin up an entire connected route from scratch – just choose the structure you need and start building.
Automated Route Logic – Let Caught Handle the Connections
The best part? When you create a route, Caught does the heavy lifting for you. Every trigger created inside that route instantly adopts the game rules you want, such as automatic unlock sequences, custom visibility, and progression logic. You get a fully functional, playable journey right out of the box, without having to configure each stop individually.
A Clear Workspace – Organize Existing Content
Already have triggers in your project? Group compatible triggers into sets or routes to turn a cluttered list into a clear, easy-to-read overview. Sets keep related triggers together without adding route behavior, while routes connect stops into a playable journey.
Each group appears as a single consolidated block in your project view, instantly cleaning up your workspace. From there, you stay completely flexible: tweak names, rearrange stops with simple drag-and-drop, or swap out challenges whenever inspiration strikes.
Quick-Rollout – Lightning-Fast Trigger Placement on the Map
Getting your triggers onto the live map should be as fast as coming up with great ideas. With Quick-Rollout (formerly bulk placement), distributing checkpoints across the terrain is faster and smoother than ever before.
Drop and Done
Instead of going back and forth to select each trigger individually, your checkpoints are stacked right under your cursor, ready to place. Click to place a trigger, and the next one instantly appears ready at your fingertips to drop onto the map. You can lay down an entire trail of checkpoints in one continuous flow, bringing your game world to life in just a few clicks!
Less Manual Reviewing, More Hosting: Meet AI Evaluation!
Photo missions create unforgettable moments, but during a busy session, submissions can quickly pile up. AI Evaluation can now help you review photos and open-question answers, giving players quicker feedback and leaving you more time to host the game.
Whether you’re running an event on-site or facilitating remotely, it’s your extra helping hand when responses start coming in.
Choose How Much to Hand Over
Use AI Evaluation with Photo tasks and Open questions, and choose how much control you want to hand over:
- Fully automated: The AI evaluates each photo or answer against your instructions and immediately approves or rejects it.
- Human assisted: If the AI isn’t confident enough to decide after evaluating, the submission is sent to the host for review.
You can let AI handle routine decisions while keeping a human eye on uncertain submissions.
Set It Up In Plain Language
No complicated settings: just describe what you want to see in your own words. For example: “A selfie where everyone is pulling a silly face” or “There must be a red bicycle in the photo.”
Then choose how confident the AI needs to be that a submission meets your criteria:
- Mild (>50%): A relaxed setting, perfect for fun, accessible challenges.
- Normal (>70%): The ideal balance for most photo tasks.
- Strict (>90%): For competitive games where the details need to be just right.
- Exact (100%): No room for error – ideal for crucial puzzle checkpoints.
Players can move on without waiting, while you focus on what matters: hosting a great event!
Trigger Workflow & Customization Upgrades – Small Changes, Smoother Creating
Sometimes, the little things make the biggest difference to your workflow. We’ve given your creator dashboard an extensive upgrade to make building, selecting, and personalizing your interactive content a visual delight.
Add a Trigger Right Where You Need It
Spot an empty space in your quest flow? You can now add a trigger right where you need it using the “+” button between existing triggers – handy when you want to slot a new clue or stop into an established sequence. There’s no need to interrupt your flow or rearrange the list just to make room for a new idea.
Effortless Multi-Trigger Selection
Managing your trigger list is now faster than ever. You can toggle selection mode with a dedicated button or simply hold down Shift to select items. The selection mode conveniently stays active until you deselect your items, giving you uninterrupted focus while you organize your layout. And the best part: you can easily add these selected triggers to a new or an existing set or route.
Custom Shapes & Distinct Icons
Create custom trigger shapes and choose icons directly in the platform instead of uploading an icon image. It’s a simpler way to give different kinds of stops their own visual identity.
Triggers within a set or route can also match that group’s shape and icon, helping related checkpoints look consistent and making your game easier to recognize at a glance.
Feedback Portal – Shape the Roadmap Together
The best ideas often come from the people creating games every day. With the new Roadmap / Request Feature space, you can share the improvements you’d like to see and help the Caught team understand what matters most to its community, whether it’s a small workflow improvement or a bigger idea.
Submit a feature request, explore suggestions from other creators, add a comment, or vote for the improvements you’d like to see. It’s a simple way to make your voice part of the conversation – and to help guide future platform improvements.
The Adventure Continues!
These updates are all about making the work behind a great game feel easier: less repetitive setup, smoother map placement, simpler organization, and more support when submissions come in. All to give you the creative freedom and operational efficiency you need to build unforgettable experiences.
Explore the new tools in your dashboard, try them in your next project, and let us know what you think through the feedback portal. We can’t wait to see what you create!
Stay tuned for more updates – and happy creating!
